Did you know that one in six women and one in thirty-two men have experienced either an attempted or completed rape.  One in twelve women and men will become victims of stalking.

A life time of functioning in despair made it impossible for me to see the light which reached out to me.  I'd even forgotten the sound of love.  With clinched fist and a refusal to forgive or trust there came a point in my life when I had to realize that only through Christ Jesus true healing and deliverance is salvage.  But, it all had to start at the door of forgiveness.  "Who will listen?"  I asked.  "Everyone who searches for me."  The voice said.  With fingers in place I began to type, "God is creator of our human bodies.  What He has made He can restore."

His power to do just that surrounds every page of my book.  You might feel this is just another one on the subject.  I argue you not.  But, "Through the Eyes of Abuse" comes as a guide to help you find that "Healthy Place" in Christ Jesus.

In-depth true life stories will motivate you as an aspiring conqueror to learn overwhelming benefits of submitting all your disappointments, heartaches, pain into the hands of a loving healing God who has captured every tear since the first time you were acoustic.  The more you read Satan's deceptions and lies will be demolished from your very souls as the identities of my abusers are revealed at last.

My Journey's Beginning

More than several years ago, I got this brilliant idea to began a memoir of my life as a child growing up in a Christian home.  By the third page of chapter one I'd already decided to keep the day job.  Convinced God had not given me a gift to write, I discarded the manuscript, and placed my concentration instead on full time ministry.  Until 2005 when one evening after visiting a local Barnes&Noble bookstore, my Pastor decided to drop by my home unannounced.  Standing there in my foyer smiling, in her hands she held a gold colored Barnes&Noble flyer announcing their short story contest.  Glancing down at it, my response was, "You've got to be kidding."  "I don't know anything about writing."  Her confidence in me became evident as she waved goodbye leaving the gold piece of paper.  Stunned, I closed the door behind her, and the journey began.  A few months later, to my surprise, my fictitous 2,500 word story titled "Theona" won first place for the the contest.

"Theona" a Christian inspirational suspense story with an surprise ending about a young professional African-American woman determined to have a career and "mister right."  After a one night fling with the dark handsome stranger she met on the elevator, beguiled she soon found herself abandoned and pregnant.  Captured in Nomed's bizzare twisted web of lies, and deceptions, disheartened she stands alone at the doorway of a conflicting decision; Suicide or Redemption ...

Shortly, after receiving my grand prize, and a month of publication in the Barnes&Noble newsletter, my message center became bombarded for requested copies of "Theona."  Of course you won't find her on any bookshelf ... yet.
